Re: anti-GM is bad?
Daniel is correct that it is easier to get people worked up over GM
than pesticides. People are not very rational about risk. The right
uses that concept to deflect all demands for regulation. John D.
Graham of the Office of Management and Budget was made this into an art
form. I discussed some of his shenanigans in Manufacturing Discontent.
