The UN is so irrelevant that it is unable to pass even a toothless resolution condemning the Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon since among other reasons the US would veto any such resolution.(In fact it already has vetoed a resolution re a ceasefire etc.) In spite of this irrelevancy Bolton has nothing to say about it. I guess that irrelevancy is good when it suits US interests. When Bolton criticizes the UN for being irrelevant it simply means that the UN is not following US dictates.
it's a bit strange that the left agrees with Bolton about the irrelevancy of the UN. I guess it's time to rename the org as "the League of Nations."
