Extracting concepts of "Justice" and "Human Nature" from Marx's works,
as Geras did, _tends_ at least to 'translate' those works from
historical analysis to metaphysics. And while that does not
_necessarily_ lead to the kind of trajectory we have seen in Geras, it
helps.
I remain an admirer, however, of Geras's magnificent destruction of
Laclau & Mouffe.
