a money-making scheme

Dearly Beloved,

Is anyone in the US willing to front me the following _guaranteed_
money-making scheme?

I'm going to buy 1,000 copies of MONTHLY REVIEW at $5 each ($5000
total, ignoring quantity discounts). Then, I'm going to take them to
Canada to sell them at CDN$7.50 each (the cover price). That's $6.68
in _real money_, according to the May 19 exchange rate. So I'll make a
per-copy profit of approximately $1.68 per copy -- or a total of
$1,677.35 (again in _real money_, not that fake Canadian paper). I'll
then plow back about 50% to invest in the next month's issue.
Accumulate accumulate! That is Moses and the prophets!

If you buy some of the shares in my enterprise, I'll pay you dividends
by selling new shares to others. Guaranteed!

There are only two draw-backs:

1) my activities may drive the Canadian dollar exchange rate toward
equilibrium, as is usual with such arbitraging, destroying my profit
margin.

2) the ghosts of Harry Magdoff, Paul Sweezy, and Leo Huberman (along
with their avatars John Bellamy Foster, Michael Yates, Cynthia
Misukiewicz, and Yoshie Furuhashi) will roast my ass.
