Brian,

The page at my wordpress blog lists the items in the news segment and contains the link
to the audio, there's no real text on page in re Rape & Class.

FWIW, I'm sure Travus wouldn't mind if you transcribed under the terms of the CC licensing.

He does post commentaries every week or so to http://fatchance.org/travus/comment.htm
which are articles he does for the Spark (NV) Tribune, and I get notified by changedetection.com.

If it shows up there I'll notify you offlist, but right now the posted commentary is:

Sparks Trib 4/16/06
RED HERRING RUN ON THE POTOMAC

WE ARE AT WAR! So far in April thirty six American troopers have died in Iraq, more than the entire month of March. Five retired general officers, including one combat commander , have gone public with their demands for the resignation of Defense Secretary. Donald Rumsfeld. A Spring offensive in Afghanistan is under way by both our Marines and the resurgent Taliban, Venezuela is about to expel our ambassador and Bolivia has deserted the war on drugs. The Bush foreign policy is a dismal record of mistakes and failures and election threatened Republicans are beginning to look to the lifeboats as the ship of state settles lower in the water. Obviously, itâs time to change the subject.

History teaches us that the surest formula for distracting the public must combine racism, nationalism of the most jingoistic variety and soupcon of economic fear to give the debate an edge. What better target than our near neighbors to the south whose migrant low cost labor has fueled the U.S. economic engine for most of the twentieth century.
