research help
I heard an interview with Mark Kurlansky regarding his book The Big Oyster: History
On The Half Shell. It sounds interesting, but not something that I have the time to
read. If anyone is looking at the book, I would appreciate a reference. He said
that the price of oysters was constant from 1776 to the 1920s. If anyone could
supply me with the exact reference, I would be very appreciative.
p.s. I would like to contact Jonathan Lassen, whose e-mail is bouncing.
