Word is that Anatol LIeven (the author of the
quoted passage) was forced out of the Carnegie
Endowment for International Peace because he was
too "radical," which is pretty funny, because
he's not very radical. But criticizing messianic
American nationalism and its Zionist affiliations
is just too hot for some.
