Slight correction. It existed already under a different name: Armed
Forces Security Agency. At the time its operations were at Arlington
Hall Station in Arlington, VA, the Naval Security Station in northwest
Washington, and the training school at 14th & U northwest, D.C. It was
beginning the transfer to Fort Meade in Md. just at the time I was
discharged from the Air Force. I believe that the new building at Fort
Meade was supposed to be much larger than the Pentagon. I find it very
amusing to remember that 50 years ago I had a top secret security
clearance. :-)
