As an embarrassed Swede I would like to point out that the price given to Robert Aumann and Thomas Schelling is a fake. It is more correctly known as 'The Central Bank's Price to the Memory of Alfred Nobel', and it was made up by the Central Bank in 1969. The survivors of Alfred Nobel have campaigned for many years to have it removed. If anything good comes out of this it is that it will put up the pressure for abolishing the economic price once and for all.
