messing things up
Imagine that the Dems. win the next presidential election. If the Repubs. can put
off the recession, the Dems. will be left with a broken pension system, a two tiered
medical system, limited job opportunities, right wing judiciary, bloated deficit.
They come to power promising to fix the deficits .... Not a pretty sight. They will
have to wait for the next Repub. administration to leave Iraq, fearing being tagged
as soft.
Rather than acting as an opposition, they are cooperating with the enemy in every
way. Instead of opposing the Patriot act, they are trying to limit the
strengthening.
What organizations are explaining the need to strengthen the social infrastructure --
education, health care ....? EPI addresses individual parts. I mean a more
comprehensive approach.
