I'll be happy to help anyone who wants
to get started. America needs more
pinko blogs.
Cole got visible because he's an Arabist
and the U.S. is current waging war, not
only because he blogs. Reporters and
radio/tv producers can be very lazy.
They would rather look up "economist"
in the phone book than try and find
out which economist has a clue as to
what s/he is talking about. Cole put
his name out front and made himself
accessible.
There are now millions of blogs, most
utterly ignored, including some very good
ones. Just having one guarantees nothing.
Google ads aren't worth a buck of spit.
There are some other ways to make a bit
of money. Very few people can make a
living at it. The most successful get
some synergy out of it by combining it
with other pastimes.
