Re: REPORT: Ward Churchill Settlement?

The bigger problem is, even with a buy out, this establishes the precedent
that faculty can be terminated for their academic views. The first one
gets a buy out, the next one gets nothing and the rest get prison. Welcome
to the new McCarthyism and Germany, 1932.

The faculty Senate at EWU passed a resolution upholding academic freedom
and looking for a way to re-invite Churchill to speak somewhere near our
campus (since the president of the U has declared that he can't speak on
campus). This is a fight we have to take seriously because it will be a
fight for our professional lives.

Develop Jim O'Connor's aphorism that bourgeois economics is a criminal enterprise? Explore how people like Larry Summers are complicit with mass death?
