BTW, I'm just finishing an update on the lump-of-labor
straw man that I will be submitting to the Journal of
Economic Perspectives. To the JEP because its fall
2004 issue contains articles by Olivier Blanchard and
Gilles Saint-Paul both relying on the bogus fallacy
claim. The JEP's managing editor, Tim Taylor published
a piece in the Milkin Institute Review a while ago on
the lump-of-labor, apparently without having actually
done any substantive research into it.
