spreading in two Iraqi cities. Officials said typhoid fever is also increasing. "The problem is the
whole infrastructure," said a health ministry official. He said water and
sewage plants were neglected during
Saddam's reign. [why is that?] But
"definitely no major intervention has been
done in this last one and a half years to
repair the problem." <
