the new web page (www.taxwisdom.org) that
defends the Progressive Income Tax in a theoretically novel way, but I think
you’ll want to check it out if you haven’t. It presents arguments that Robert H.
Frank (Luxury Fever, The Winner-Take-All Society) described as
“among the best that I’ve seen.” If they catch on, they could have a
big impact on tax policy debates in this country. All the
