The North Ossetians would beg to differ.

I really kind of rolled my eyes at the very subject
"Russian banditry." If it were only the Russians they
had to worry about, they would be lucky. They also
have to deal with all the people in the North
Caucasus, which is a revenge culture, gangs in
Chechnya have been terrorizing over the years.
