There's a line for "entertainment" - none for travel. In 2002, the
mean expenditure on travel was $2,079, or 5% of annual expenditures
of $40,677.

Thanks. So, $2,079 on "entertainment" on the average in 2002. US workers and petty producers do have enough disposable incomes to create a political party of their own if they want to.
