By the by, more people fled Chechnya from 1996-1999
than during the First Chechen War. I wonder who it was
they must have been running from. Hey, I don't know,
maybe it was from these bandits, after they
established the death penalty for adultery, kicked out
all the human rights and aid organizations (kicked out
= killed) and made kidnapping into the republic's No.
1 source of income. Just a suggestion.
