ABN, not ABB Re: Gary Trudeau, Iraq and Nader

Liberals deserve lots of heat, but their worst crimes were during the Cold War. Right now, they're hardly the most urgent problem. I think a lot of our deep radicals are jealous at the popular mobilization behind the ABB movement; we on the further left haven't been able to rouse the rabble like that in decades.

By now, it is disingenuous to speak of "Anybody But Bush." Liberals are NOT opposed to Bush being on the ballots, and liberals would live with Bush should Kerry manage to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. What they ARE opposed to is Nader getting on the ballots. So, we should call you the Anybody But Nader gang.

What we have is not a popular movement for "Anybody But Bush" --
evidenced by the fact that the race is very close, despite all the
objective problems that afflict the Bush camp -- but an ideology
manufactured by liberal intellectuals and top-down mobilization by
liberal millionaires and union officials, spending half a billion.
