Dorothy Healy
________________________________
> Dorothy Healy ... was a CPUSA leader. Left in the sixties. Later started
DSA.<
she didn't found DSA. She helped create the New American Movement (a poorly
initialed group), an organization that later merged with Michael
Harrington's Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee to create DSA. I'd
say that the DSOC swallowed NAM, since the latter shifted to the right to
join the former. (That's when I quit NAM.)

CB: Yea, actually I kinda knew that about NAM ,et al. No, intent to libel or
promote Dorothy Healy; just lazy recall.
