The First Debate
Stand-ins for Bush-Kerry-Nader Debate in California

WHEN: Thursday, August 19, 2004 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

WHERE: Temecula City Council Chambers-Riverside County, California

This Thursday night, August 19th, representatives of the Bush/Cheney, Kerry/Edwards, and Nader/Camejo presidential tickets will gather to debate in Riverside County, CA. The debate will be shown that night, and several times on later dates. The televised time is being donated by Adelphia Cable Television, with the approval of the Temecula City Council.

After opening statements, a panel of local media reporters will ask questions. There will also be final statement from each representative.
The participants will include:

    * For the Bush/Cheney Campaign: Mr. Mario Rodriguez, Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party
    * For the Kerry/Edwards Campaign: Ms. Alexandra "Alex" Gallardo-Rooker, First Vice-Chair of the California Democratic Party
    * For the Nader/Camejo Campaign: Mr. Matt Gonzalez, President of the Board of Supervisors, San Francisco, CA
