Re: help!!

this problem turned out to be easy to solve (I asked at the Windows Annoyances site and they told me to do CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the opening log-in screen). The problem is the piss-poor documentation that comes with Windows XP. It's no accident that O'Reilly publishes a series of "Missing Manual" books. I understand there's one for the Mac OS X, too.

Subject: [PEN-L] help!!

Right before leaving the country for 10 days, I made the mistake of using TWEAKUI for Windows XP/home edition to hide the "Jim" user name (which was enabled as an administrator) at log-in -- because I never use it. The problem is that it also hid the "Admin" user name at log-in, leaving only "Guthrie," which is not an administrator log-in name (because my son uses it). So I can use my PC but only with an annoying version of Windows XP (my son's preferences) and I can't use TWEAKUI to unhide "Jim" or "Admin." I also can't do it by using Regedit. What can I do? Please help me!
