It's a political decision. It has outraged a lot of conservatives (in the Russian sense of the word). Most people think he should be buried and the mausoleum turned into a museum.

Wasn't putting Stalin into the mausoleum alongside Lenin the former's decision? He was in there a few years (now he's about 20 meters away).

Turn On's:

- my wife and I snuggled up
- glass of wine, good music and romantic inclinations
- rereading the new edition of Super Imperialism, Henry C.K. Lui on monetary policy, updates on the housing market
-dancing and laughing for no particular reason
-Pondering and hoping the Ronald Reagan suffered horribly. (His son was on Larry King speaking against Ron's policies and that of the Bush administration)
- free music and movies
- the kids not calling for months on end.

Turn Offs

-Poor bonded books whose pages come out.

-Necromancy.

Don't the living suppose to bury the dead and not put them on display.

I forget what I remember. Didn't Lenin's ear or something fall off?

I did read about two maybe three year ago about Stalin's comeback . . . at the behest of the military. Underneath the geopolitical consideration is profound economics called "I want to keep my job, perks and pension."

I am not against "jobs, perks and pension."

Rehabilitation . . . here's an interesting word . . . when applied to someone that is already dead.

I think about my first marriage and rehabilitating the dead and shake my head.
