It's fascinating that the concept of time is missing in all the PEN-l discussions of oil, except in Tom's postings. Why translate the question of time (e.g., Tom's question: Will it come to take "more labour time than it saves to find and produce the oil?") into that of space (i.e. absolute and known oil reserves). -- Yoshie
