Have you seen the movie?

I shall take my third viewing of the movie later today or tomorrow. My first
review will be written for the A-List, and perhaps a satire for Marxmail. What
all discussion of Mel Gibson's movie fail to mention is that he is of an
imperial peoples and the profound white chauvinists ideological content of the
movie. Why is something so obvious to the majority of humanity not mentioned or
understood by 99.9% of the people who have written in reference to "The Passion
of the Christ?"

How can one cast a white man as Christ? Even the black man that helps carry
the Cross to the Christ place of crucifixion is not symbolically black. The
professional theologians within African American Christianity are going to have a
field day in denunciation of "The Passion of the Christ." There is a such
thing as "African American Christianity" and a segment of it has never advocated
"turning the other cheek."

Let there be no misunderstanding.

This is an excellent movie for the Christian part of earth -- not the
majority of humanity by a long shot. Mel Gibson manifest the truth of capital, power
and subjugation of humanity, as it evolved in the form of the state as an
independent power based in agricultural relations and from his point of view. It
is a movie that should be banned in the non-Christian world and one should be
charged with a crime for viewing it outside of official government channels.
"Freedom of criticism" is basically white chauvinism in today's world.

A white Christ in today's world is a testament to the degeneracy of the
bourgeois world order.

One would be well to consult the great Frederick Engles

"The Passion of the Christ" should have been more appropriately titled "The
Beat-Down of JC of Nazareth."

Jesus weep and Mel Gibson shows why.

Kind of reminds me of historical accounts of lynching's - where the white
people take the family out for a picnic and festivities, while watching the
suffering of the black on the cross or being broken on the infamous wheel. In
African American folklore the word picnic means "pick a nigga" flesh from his
bones. Here is the origin of "picnic."

Here is a movie all Marxists in the American Union should see and ponder
their Christian heritage.

Real splits within the bourgeoisie as a class is based in the different
functions of capital. Sectarian differences are not the meaning of "split" within
capital.
