Michael suggested I leave and I complied with his request.  I would like
to thank all those who have contacted me offlist (and onlist ) and
offered their support.

You would think however, that the biggest whiner on the whole list, Louis "I'll
Call the Cops If You Touch me" Proyect, aka Tiny Tears,  would have the
sense to shut up.... but of course his narcissism won't let him.

Let's be clear, I was tossed off LBO after taking strong, vehement exception,
to a participant breathing a sigh of relief when Richard Lugar replaced Jesse
Helms, oh yeah, and adding that Colin Powell represented an enlightened
faction in the Bush Administration.  Remember Aliens when the Marines are
wondering why Ripley is so pissed-off and Frost says "Guess she don't like
the cornbread neither"?  Well, I didn't think too much of Lugar's award
winning recipe for lemon flipcake.

As for Marxmail, Proyect unsubbed me two or three times, once for
showing that Mark Jones did not know what he was talking about when
talking about oil after he, Jones, claimed I was the one who didn't know;
a second time for thinking that Michael Keansey (SP?) Stalinist support of
the German President and Finance Minister in their "dissent" re Iraq was
just that: Stalinist support for the bourgeoisie.  MK then went on to prove
me right by claiming that Trotskyists actively worked hand in glove with
Western intelligence agencies to bring down the USSR.  When challenged,
MK's brillliant working class hero response was "You'll just have to take
my word for it."  You can look it up it's in the archives.

I left Malthusmail finally after Tiny Tears suggest as Marxists we reexamine
Malthus and the finite capacity of the earth re human population.  I warned
against this as it always gets down to the old in and out, who gets to
reproduce, and who gets cut.  "Never happen," said little Loulou.

But it did, one participant actually defended the  sterilization imposed
upon  Chinese women by "revolutionary" government after 1949.  Another
participant reproduced, without criticism, the opinion of a notorious oil
depeletionist that the "carrying capacity of the earth" was only 2 billion people.
I leave it to you to figure out what we do with the other 4 billion.  So I left
Malthusmail.

As you might have guessed Proyect and I hate each other.  He has made this
abundantly clear in posts offlist and onlist.  I have quoted his own words,
posted on this list to one Michael Dawson "If I'm ever in Portland, I might
look you up and give you the chance to say those things to my face, you
jive-ass punk," to him, since I live in NYC, just a number 6 train ride
away from him.  Alas, Louis says he was only kidding to Dawson, exercising
his "shock-jock" persona, but he fears I'm serious.  Serious as a heartattack.

Anyway, that's merely to set the archive and erecord straight.  IF anyone
is interested, I can send you the complete record of LP's offlist hissy-fits,
unedited, unexpurgated, and unoriginal as they are.
