Hey!
Have you forgotten the recent disastrous results of
"shareholders" hiring managers? The end result was the
corporate scandals and systemic lies of the past
decade. Not that what was going on was exactly
shareholders hiring managers. It was more like people
giving their money to fund managers to manage for them
and hence to equip them with the power to monitor the
corporate managers.
But managers of the former kind monitoring the
managers of the latter kind is an oxymoron. Who is
going to monitor the managers of the former kind?
As you know, the capital market democracy, in which
not one person is one vote but one dollar is one vote,
is the sickest form of democracy, if you can call it
that.
I have no objection to workers hiring managers,
though.
