I tend to see everything in terms of its relevance to building the core
of a mass movement against imperialism and all the barriers to the unity
of such a movement.
Anti-gay attitudes on the part of potential sectors of such a movement
is one such barrier. Hence the fight against anti-gay aspects of the
social order (or of the state) is an unavoidable part of the fight for
left (or working-class) unity.
I don't really give a hang whether it hurts or helps either the RP or
the DP.
