I didn't say that the fact that Gore got more votes was off topic. I
said the subject of the Electoral College, which requires a rewrite
of the Constitution and ratification by enough States, which takes
years -- is off-topic when discussing the upcoming elections. On the
other hand, assuring the unfettered participation of eligible voters
in the upcoming election, is, incdeed, on-topic.
