This is quite good. It seems to me that Brad is
becoming rather a nut-buy himself. He used to mark out
the far right of opinion that might be considered in
some sense marginally left, and in any case was
generally thoughtful and intelligent, but lately he
has become remarkably abusive and conclusory. It is
unforunate. We on the left need intelligent criticism,
but Brad's criticism, as Louis shoss in more detail
and with more patience than I can offer it, is
decreasingly intelligent. jks
