Yoram Ben-Porath quoted it in his review of Becker's TREATISE ON THE FAMILY in the March 1982 JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC LITERATURE. Samuelson said it in "An Economist's Non-Linear Model of Self-Generated Fertility Waves" in POPULATION STUDIES, July 1976 (vol. 30, no. 2), p. 244.
