Yesterday aboard Air Force One, when Bush was asked about his style,
among other things, he said the following:

Q. Could you --could you dwell for a moment on your personal style of
diplomacy and how you see it working?

A. I try to tell the truth, put it right out there on the table for
everybody to understand what's expected. I do, I like people.

.....

I'm not a very formal guy to begin with. ....I'm also not very
analytical. You know I don't spend a lot of time thinking about myself,
about why I do things. ....I  think one of my styles is trying to relax
people.
