Re: "Humanitarian Intervention in Congo" continues "Socialist command-type"
Chris's post was very challenging. The Congo is disfunctional because of
imperialism. Now, the people must rely on imperialism to patch things up.
Yugoslavia and Iraq had functioning governments. They were not ideal by
any means, but they did provide for the material needs of many of the
people -- at least before sanctions. Both were relatively successful in
resisting imperial control.
