[PEN-L:36278] T T Hipp on Perle
Radio commentator Travus T Hipp this morning suggested Perle's
resignation is a strategic move to keep him from conflict of interest
charges, since they only apply to the top dog. As a lowly dog, his
influence is still there, but he gets out of being legally tangled up
in coming investigations.
This was not out of any protest against the Bush and Company, says
Hipp, just a way to get out of being arrested or charged, nothing
more.
-------------
Not too unlike George Bush senior getting out of the overt govmint
biz just as the Iran-Contra hearings were nipping at his heels.
