Hello CODEPINK Los Angeles!

CodePink has been busy planning actions and events all over the

country--with some very exciting events coming up in the Los Angeles area,

including a reception for Artists for Peace: Nudes Not Nukes in Santa Monica

on March 30, an intimate evening of music and poetry with Michelle Shocked

at the Temple Bar on April 8 and the premiere of a modern adaptation of the

Greek anti-war comedy 'Lysistrata' at the Electric Lodge on April 11.



Of special note is the worldwide Wednesday Night Vigil, 5:30-7:30pm, every
week

in L.A. at the Westwood Federal Building. This weekly event is a cornerstone
of the

CODEPINK concept--a great opportunity for us to come together to share with
and expand on our community, in all our cultural diversity and in the spirit
of
PEACE.
