You bet Good Vibrations is doing great! According to my roommate who works
there, they are thriving and expanding. She said the best thing she saw
this Xmas were whole families: grandmother, mother, daughter ...coming in
to do their Xmas shopping. Oh, and what was their top selling doodad this
Xmas? A vibrating rubber duckie!

What it means though, I'm not sure. It partly means that Americans feel
freer about expressing and exploring their sexuality (good). It partly
means that sexuality has become a consumer staple like any other (not so
good).  In economic terms, I think it means that bad times are coming
because that's when folks head for the comfort goods: food, sex, and
entertainment.

P.S. I'll be in Washington DC for the next four days. I'll catch up with
everyone at the end of the week.
