A two-word answer? Isn't this the problem with email lists? That they
try to address burning questions in a minimalist fashion? If I were
going to answer these questions seriously, the first thing I would do is
get up to speed on Iraqi history and the geopolitics of oil.
(By the way, Soula, you should be aware that you habitually neglect to
delete text in a message that you are replying to that is not
immediately relevant to your reply. I have seen you post a 1 sentence
reply to a 2,000 word post. This is not a very wise use of the people's
bandwidth.)
