Aha, an equivocation! :-)

I was using the term in the sense of what Sam Smith calls "the
colloquial left."

Right, and one of the larger goals should be the breakdown of the
distinction, in speech and practice, "between" rank-and-file activists
and the "peace and justice bureaucracy." This has something to do with
positional goods problems; status, ego etc.

A big Demo "every other week" will strain the finances and
emotional/biopower "resources" of colloquial lefties. It makes sense to
be on guard for a kind of "instant gratification" syndrome among
activists. Ameliorating the possibilities of fatigue and the concomitant
infighting [blaming each other] that comes with/from fatigue will be a
crucial task in the months and years ahead and that links up to how we
deal with the part of my reply above.
