yes, but raping and pillaging are also social relations.

(Capitalism involves the contradiction between socialized production -- social relations of domination and exploitation -- and individualized appropriation and greed. The anti-social individual actions encouraged by capitalism tends to undermine capitalism itself, though there's no automatic replacement of capitalism with something else, not to mention something better.)
