[PEN-L:30235] interesting situation
I am teaching a course on Marx's Capital this year. My very best student
is a philosophy major, who is very open about his racist views. He wants
to learn Marx to combat socialism. He is a Vietnam vet who volunteered
for a second tour. He is very respectful and refuses to address me by my
first name. And damn it, he really can follow what Marx is doing.
Moreover, he makes the class much more interesting for the others.
