I think it's too late for the U.S. to launch
a war before November. The politics are not
right for the Admin yet. They haven't sold it,
either domestically or elsewhere. The Dems
would let them do it, but only I think to give
them opportunities to ruin themselves politically.
So I'd cover the 'no war'
side of a bet. We could define 'war' as an open
incursion of ground troops towards one or more
cities not presently controlled by the U.S./UN.
Stepped up bombing and the commando shit going on
now doesn't count.
