Another difference.  In his new book, Stiglitz describes how ineffectual
he was relative to Summers and Rubin, even when their policies were
obviously stupid.

I am not sure that Stiglitz ever exercized any control over policy.  Even
so, I think that Henry's juxtaposition is very interesting.
