Kropotkin is frightening. I spent two months operating a gear shaver,
and it took about 10 years for the last bits of steel in my hands to
work itself either out or in too deep to see. Four hours picking
cucumbers -- four hours handling hot covered steel rings covered in
hundreds of tiny daggers. :-(

I agree with Joanna of course -- but it's a long road to that world.
