You might try Brad DeLong & Michael Froomkin's article "The New Economy"

It's not Marxist, but it is classical, in the sense that goes back to
Smith and tries to consider the prerequisities of a Smithian commodity,
how they don't really apply when the commodity is information, and how the
the laws of microeconomy might change as a result.
