Greetings Economists,
    I thought the essays by Louis Proyect were interesting well written
reviews.  Lou submitted those pieces (10 May 2002 20:29) via links to the
Marxism archives  The material and creative people involved in the movie
industry whose ties to the left have been obscured and neglected teach us a
lot about the nuances of our cultural history and what it means to express
ourselves in a capitalist culture.  In addition Louis' understanding of the
underlying disability issues is apparent in how Louis describes the movie.
I think this is important in those of our contemporaries whose talents and
skills as writers make their voice heard by many.

    I just want to praise this effort.
