Of course Fukushima is a propagandist for US interests, but this is a pretty
good piece.
I think if you asked most Japanese company people what 'multinational' they
admire the most, those in the know might say Nestle' (never mind the baby
formula scandal). If you look at how this company succeeds and doesn't do as
much of the dishonest accounting stuff or venture capital plays that US
companies specialize in, you can understand what appeals to the Japanese
about Nestle'. It also, by the way, is a very successful company in Japan,
with Japan being the company's 5th largest market and one of its most
profitable.
The Dow 36,000 idiot was over to Japan recently and gave a speech as an
expert on why Japan should converge NOW with US accounting practicies and
business law (why? because the US wants to exports its excess of accountants
and lawyers while wielding hegemony in ever more ways?).
