Strange isn't it that an American who lived in Kuwait in the eighties can
certify that Saddam is a madman while the Kuwaiti's just recently came to an
agreement with him and are opposed to a war against him by the US. But of
course Kuwait's opinion does not count in the US unless it follows the US
line.
Of course Hussein did use gas against the Kurds during a period when the US
supported Iraq to offset the power of Iran during their war. Daddy Bush was
head of the CIA at the time and said nary a word about the gasing of the
Kurds.
