RE: Theory on Mullah Omar etc

Karl, you have your conspiranoid geo-politics more than a bit
awry below. Russia supported, for several yrs. before 9-11, the
Northern Alliance. See, among many sources, silly bourgeois journalist
Ahmed Tashid (has a very new one out btw entitled, Jihad!)
Would help, if you read say the official Iranian press agency,
the IRNA, if I remember right, to get a fix on Iranian actions
and attitudes.
The below about the Toyata land cruisers make believe retreat,
reminds me of your conjecture, on no evidentiary basis, except
an image of the an omniscient, ompipotent CIA manufacturing Peronist
mobs in Argentina. Grant people and political forces their right
to be justifiably pissed or in the case of Mullah Omar et. al,
the ability to sincerely believe what they do. Not denying that
all political actors engage in psywar but, you really do carry
that way too far.
