Yes, because they appreciate class analysis, and they know which side
of the class divide they're on. But social democracy blurs class
lines, weakens social discipline, reduces the power of bosses, raises
wages, etc. - so it's no wonder they don't like it.

CB: From the standpoint of capitalists, aren't social democratic concessions given , grudgingingly, when they are fearful that the depth of crisis might cause full revolutions, since we agree that the capitalists have a "Marxist" consciousness , but from the capitalist side of the class struggle ?

Social democratic and fascist historical similarities might be due to the fact that they are alternative capitalist responses to potentially revolutionary crises.
