It's not a crime scene.  It's a war, albeit one that is
ill-defined in a dangerous way.  Righteous, innocent
people were vicitimized by Abe Lincoln & FDR too.
I cannot be upset by anybody who hasn't figured
out WWII was a just war, though I realize this
probably does not apply to MPo and JKS.

You are all selective pacifists.  The USG must behave
like the boy scouts, while anything opposing it gets the benefit
of assorted apologies, contextualizations, rationalizations,
etc.  Revolutionaries are allowed to be ruthless, but the
USG must observe laws designed for other purposes.
Either you are selective pacifists, or you are not real
revolutionaries.  Also bad historians.  This is not the
Kaiser v. British imperialism.
